What counts as proof here

a page we read	You put a code we issue somewhere public on the account. We request that page over ordinary HTTP and look for the code in what comes back. The claim is recorded only if it is there.
not a form	Filling this in proves nothing and records nothing. There is no path in the code that marks an account claimed without a response body containing the code.
not a review queue	Nobody approves claims. If the read fails, you are told which failure it was — the platform refused us, or the page was read and the code was not in it.
and its limit, measured	Of the three platforms, only X serves a profile this can read. TikTok cannot be read: it answers with a 1,462-byte login stub. Instagram cannot be read either: a 608 kB shell containing no profile content at all — not the bio, not even the display name. No code posted on either can be proved from here, however long you wait. That is on this page, beside the buttons, rather than discovered after four attempts.

Each line is a real fetch of a real public profile from this server, with the bytes it returned. They are dated because they are observations — a platform can change what it serves to a visitor with no session, and if it does, these become wrong before anybody here notices.
